The Cargo also features an integrated light bracket on the rear that accepts most American style battery taillights as well as European style generator lights.
Steel is a preferred material since for the same weight, a hollow steel tube is far stronger and stiffer than a solid aluminum strut. Steel is also far easier to repair if you are on a world tour although all Tubus racks come with a 3 year guarantee.
