Ten years ago
Ray Brick and his buddies had what some may call a bizzare vision.
The Minnesota winters had robbed their HPV’s long enough.
They were mad as heck and not going to take it any more.
A mid-winter race was what they needed. Hmmmm.
On a frozen lake.
On the coldest day of the year.
Ten years later, they’re still doing it. And not alone.
This year, 23 competitors braved the elements in the largest race ever.
And I think even they would admit, it is bizzare.
