Revolutionary Forecast ® SS316 Substrate Material

Sequim, WA -- July 15th, 2006 –One Of The Fishing Industry’s Leading Component Supplier Batson Enterprises is pleased to announce a new guide and tip top substrate material, SS316.

SS316 is a high-grade stainless steel that is used in our guides with “X” designation. The lower carbon content of this stainless steel allows for better corrosion resistance than standard stainless steel materials. To our knowledge, we are the only company using this high-grade material for guide frames. We have stamped the guides and tip tops that are made with the SS316 substrate with S-6.

The models offered in the new SS316 substrate material are stamped with S-6 as listed:

Lab tested: All models tested corrosion free! Test used was ASTM B-177 continuous salt spray test. Test duration of 720 hours / 30 days.
